(day books) Only one stretcher bar for this painting remains in the artist’s studio with the following annotations: in black paint: -1577- on label typed by the artist: Illustration for–“Kill of Cure” 1577 September 1927. // The wet hammr [sic] almost slipped out of her grasp. She clutched it madly, pounded–waas [sic] wrenched away–swung back- pounded again. |
