Commentary: | This window along with the right chancel window were dedicated in March of 1940 and depict scenes from the life of Christ. In his day books and correspondence, Schoonover indicates that these windows were dedicated to William Henry Laird, but the church material indicates that only the alterpiece was part of this memorial. Both windows were constucted by D’Ascenzo Studios in Philadelphia. See #2167 for the cartoon, and #2168w for the companion window. | |
