Scriptures set in windows:
left predella: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help.
middle window: For thither the tribes go up to testify unto Isreal.
right predella: I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.
Commentary: This window along with the right chancel window were dedicated in March of 1940 and depict scenes from the life of Christ. In his day books and correspondence, Schoonover indicates that these windows were dedicated to William Henry Laird, but the church material indicates that only the alterpiece was part of this memorial. Both windows were constucted by D’Ascenzo Studios in Philadelphia. See #2167 for the cartoon, and #2168w for the companion window.
