| Commentary: | When Mr. Tesh bought this landscape at the artist’s studio, he asked “Mr. Schoonover” some questions the subject. The artist visited the Tesh’s home at which time he drew a detailed, labeled map on the back of the painting. The map indicates the farm and its ennvirons near Bushkill. Schoonover, always the reconteur, told the story of painting the landscape. He marked the spot where he set his easel while working and included his wife, Martha, sitting in the car waiting for him.
