Commentary: On the opening night of the Wilmington Society of Fine Arts exhibition, this painting was purchased by Schoonover’s good friend and student, Dr. Daniel Preston, Dr. Preston subsequently gave the painting to Edgar Rhoads as a gift. (archives, day books)
