| Commentary: | A miniature portrait of an ancestor was brought to the studio by Mr. and Mrs. Griswold on November 26, 1956. Schoonover hired Mr. Herzog, local photographer, to make an enlargement and projection from a slide. Using those as a guide, Schoonover created a copy of the miniature during January and February of 1957. Mr. and Mrs. Griswold came to the studio on March 8th and gave their approval (day books). The original has not been located and no image is available. |
